Our family and friends went to fish, camp and raft down the river. My husband and I are 'over' the tent #@%*. We stayed at the Flaming Gorge Resort and it was exceptional. Just a few minutes from the camp site. We would have an early breakfast and meet everyone at the campsite. We would return late into the evening. And guess what? We had a nice shower, warm, comfortable bed and a clean toilet. Perfect......

Views great. Gorge great. Weather was nice. Not crowded. Nice people. Good fishing, hiking, nature watching. Not much choice for accommodations so Dutch John Resort wasn't bad. Just needs renovation.

The whole purpose of my trip was to fish in Flaming Gorge lake and the resort was mostly for a place to stay. We only ate there three meals and did a little shopping in the store. Everyone we came in contact with was very frendly and accomidating
